I never blogged about Christmas with my family, and I've wanted to for the longest time. We celebrated Christmas with my parents while they were out here for Thanksgiving, because at the time we didn't think we'd see them again over the holidays. My parents gave me an iPad, and I was completely and utterly surprised. I definitely never ever expected such an amazing gift, and the next few pictures say it all.
what?!
seriously?!
pure happiness.
thanks mom and dad :)
Of course my parents had also bought an iPad for my brother, but he wasn't getting his until Christmas. I had to keep quiet about my gift so he wasn't tipped off. He was just as surprised when he opened his...
And my parents joined in on the fun and each got iPads of their own! :)
It was definitely a fun Christmas memory that I wanted to record. I have loved using my iPad, and I'm always looking for new apps! One of the things I love getting to do the most is face time with my beautiful niece Allison...
She just turned two, and she's at such a fun stage! One of the times we did face time with her over Christmas she saw us (on the iPad) and then ran over to the refrigerator where our Christmas card was hung. It was really cute to see her point to our pictures and make the connection with who we are. Technology is really amazing, and I love that it can help us stay close across the miles.
Thanks again for a great Christmas surprise, Mom and Dad!! :)

Fun!! I can see you've got the pink iPad cover, too... nice choice that's what I have of course! I love using FaceTime, iBooks, and recently I found a flashcard app that I use for memorizing scripture.
That's awesome. I got a Kindle Touch 3G. I wish I could down load some apps on it too. Maybe someday we will be able too! Hav fun with your iPad :o)
